Born in a small village in northern Portugal, Alberto Barroso is the 5th in a family of eight children, they live mainly off the products of the Earth and the vine.
Arrived in Montreal in the 1950s, Alberto decided to earn a living in the field of restoration.
Despite the fact that he only spoke Portuguese, he integrates easily with Quebec culture and decided a few years later to open his own restaurant.
Hence, he transmits his passion for cooking with his children, Sylvester and Manuel Barroso. Today, the third generation takes over. Victor and Jonathan follow in their footsteps .
It is with pride that they share their love of food with their portuguese wood charcoal restaurants in Repentigny, Lachine and Montreal.
You will be able to enjoy meat and grilled fish along with spices and traditional imported wines from Portugal.
